The HTC Sensation has had its release date – sort of – confirmed over at Vodafone. It’s looking like UK punters can expect their pre-ordered handset on May 19 Published on May 5, 2011
The HTC Sensation is now available on pre-order over at Vodafone and UK users who got their bids in early, according to reports, can expect to receive the handset around May 19.
The news comes via BGR and Engadget who both claim that Vodafone has confirmed that UK Sensation pre-orderers will get their devices for May 19.
The HTC Sensation, which has been causing quite a stir ever since it was first announced, features a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capabilities, 4GB of internal storage, and a massive, yet, thoroughly impressive 4.3-inch qHD display.
It also features the latest version of HTC’s Sense UI, a new VOD service, called Watch, and a whole load of additional features that really make the HTC Sensation a phone to look out for in 2011.
HTC has also upped the battery power aboard the device, which means, fingers crossed, that it won’t be anywhere near as bad as the one of the HTC Desire HD – arguably the worst smartphone on the market for battery life.
