Based on analysts from Gartner, in the first quarter of 2011 has sold around 1.6 million units Windows Phone 7 based smartphone. Even though it looks a lot but this figure is still not comparable to the overall number of 428 million mobile devices sold at the same time.
Gartner considers that the sale of Windows Phone is simply mediocre. Consumers not interested with the Windows Phone 7 device-based and still more glancing Android.
